in and teaches JINS 351 The Faust Tradition, Critical Theory, and
World Literature. His current research interests are Postmodernism:
philosophy and culture, Aesthetics and Ethics in postmodern thought and
culture, and European Romanticism

with a BFA in painting and drawing. I did graduate work both at BYU and The
University of Chicago where I received a Ph.D. in History of Culture.
Extracurricular interests are in art, photography and astronomy.
